Then- which version of this interior self?

1.The inner child, inner teenager, the inner curmugeon?

2. Who decides? 

3. Who really drives the bus?

Does any one, singular voice have authority over the meat suit?

Is there any form interior collective consensus that defines our private subjective experience?

Or

 do they, this interior collective decide who, represents the whole at any given time?
